Pen clip searching
Prototype v.4

In my search for a practical pen clip solution, I came across some intriguing metal options online. These clips feature flexible wire loops that can accommodate pens of various diameters while maintaining their grip and elasticity even after extended use. Impressed by their versatility, I decided to integrate them into a custom cover design.
Additionally, I incorporated a clever magnetic element. By adding a magnet to the back of the palette, I was able to create a self-closing portfolio that eliminates the need for a rubber band. This thoughtful design touch enhances the overall functionality and convenience of the setup.
Furthermore, I sourced a sleek black paper binder with larger loops that is easier to open, lending an attractive aesthetic to the ensemble.
When I put the complete system to the test, I found that it successfully held the pens in place. However, the clips added significant bulk when stored in my pocket, and the pens tended to shift around too much. Despite this minor drawback, the magnetic closure feature proved to be a valuable asset that I plan to continue exploring and refining.
Overall, this project has been a fruitful journey of innovation and experimentation, leading me closer to the ideal pen organizational solution.
