The rubber band solution

This latest version features a tighter overall fit, which feels comfortable in the hand and is quite compact.

The magnet section will also need some improvements in the future.

In my continued efforts to enhance the pen gripping function, I decided to try using a broad rubber band this time. I'm grateful to my wife for helping me sew it into a loop. I chose a green color, but in the future, I may experiment with patterned bands as well.

Overall, I'm making progress in refining the design, but there is still room for further enhancements. The broad rubber band approach is a step in the right direction, but I'll need to fine-tune the details to achieve the optimal pen-holding capabilities.

The broad rubber band solution does work, but I feel it is not holding the pens tight enough. For the next version, I will adjust the gap height to improve the grip. However, this design already looks much better than the previous hair band solution.
